Feeling shy about foreplay

So my SO and i have been together for almost a year now and we have a strong sex relationship but when it comes to forplay i love it. I want to start out this way every time cuz for some reason its the only way i can really feel anything. That or if im on top. I always feel really shy though! I want to hide my face or if it it does start to feel good during foreplay it starts to tickle is the best way to discribe it, anyone have any suggestions to help me not be so shy.?.
