Placenta Previa

So I'm sitting in labor and delivery unit of the hospital. Had some pretty bad bleeding so they sent me here to get checked out. Baby is fine but I have placenta Previa....I was sent home. Got home and passed some huge clots and that scared me so I came back. Baby's heartbeat is still strong. I am just bleeding so much! Has this happened to anyone else. ? I'm 17 weeks
