I HATE MY HUSBANDS FRIEND
My husband and I chose to name our daughter Liberty Mae. About two weeks ago I texted my husbands friends wife and asked her what she thought about it and she said she loved it and it was so cute and blah blah blah (she's due 1 week before me and already had names picked out but didn't know the gender). Fast forward to today, and my husband said something to his 'friend' (who I've always disliked but whatever) about the name and he said 'oh yeah we were gonna use Liberty but we HATE the name Libby.'
Okay.. FIRST of all, I said something to his wife weeks ago after we found out we were having a girl. She told me the names they had picked out before she even got pregnant and last week they found out they were having a boy. The reason I HATE this guy is because everything is a competition to him. My husband has known him since they were in kindergarten and he always has something snarky to say. My husband is never allowed to have an original thought because this 'friend' has to outdo everything my husband does. It gets extremely old. They're 27 years old ffs. Ugh rant over 🙄 this may or may not be hormone driven.
