Does this sound normal?

So today's Friday, obviously lol, I got my period Sunday/Monday and yesterday I was bleeding pretty heavily still and today I didn't bleed at all, just the brown you get when you finish my period. I thought it was kinda weird my period ended one day to the other, instead of gradually becoming lighter like it usually does. Is this normal? I'm sexually active, if that changes anything (not while in my period though)
