Foreshortened Limbs

Maegan
My significant other and I went to our 20 week anatomy scan yesterday. We had been told at 16 weeks that we were having a boy, but the ultrasound tech confirmed it was a girl. It was a surprise, but we didn't really mind either way.
Then as we were going through with the scan the ultrasound tech pointed out that she seen an issue (she knows me SO from when he volunteered at the hospital.) Her leg bones, arms, and fingers were all measuring short. I'm at 20 weeks and I seen her legs were measuring at 14/15 weeks. The doctor came in and confirmed and is sending us to a high risk specialist at UK hospital. He said the signs could point to dwarfism.
Our appointment is in a week, and we are just freaking out. This is something you never expect. I've been told I couldn't get pregnant, so when this happened it was a miracle for us. Now we are so scared of what can happen down the road. To see a beautiful baby on the screen, going crazy kicking and moving around and being told something is wrong and having no answers is just... scary.
I just needed to get this off my chest, we haven't told people yet just because we don't have answers yet. So... please pray, send good vibes, hug a tree; whatever you believe could help us. If any other mommies have been through this or are going through this, it'd be nice to hear from you as well.
