Do men care as much as women about valentines day, anniversaries etc?

My partner thinks none of them are important and other men dont see them as important to celebrate with loved ones on anniversaries etc

Valentine's day? Who cares. I haven't celebrated that since I was in elementary school.

Anniversaries? Yes, celebrate these. Even if all you do is go get some ice cream and have a movie night at home. just spend a couple hours together to celebrate. it doesn't have to be anything fancy.

I like Valentine's Day because it's another excuse for date night. But my husband cares a lot about anniversaries, birthdays, etc. a lot of men don't, but I think that's because they are raised to not be as emotionally available and vulnerable as women. It's something that's been determined as "weak" and is not encouraged for them.

My husband was raised by a matriarchy of women though, and is very in touch with his emotions.

I don't really care for Valentine's Day and neither does he. But he does typically buy me roses and chocolate even though I never expect it. And anniversaries he usually will surprise me too lol he cares more about them than I do
