How did you go into labor?

I'm 29 weeks with baby number 3. I've never gone into labor on my own. I was induced with my first two.  It took over 30 hours with both but it was hard and constant from the meds and came on super quick. I've never started labor on my own and want to know what it was like for everyone. Because I've got some strange stuff going on lately that never happened with the first two.

Same with me. Both babies were induced. One past my due date and one at 36 weeks. I want to go into labor on my own but at the same time when I was induced I was pushing within two hours. Son kind of looking forward to the two hours, lol. I may not get that if I go into labor on my own. That scared me a little.

I lost part of my mucus plug in the shower Tuesday night. As soon as I stepped out, I began having menstrual-like cramps. I was so excited even though I knew it could regenerate, but I had been having contractions for a couple weeks already. Wednesday night my contractions got pretty regular, but not super painful so I just went about my business. Thursday they got stronger and by that night they were 5-8 minutes apart. Baby was malpositioned so I was in labor for a long time (30+ hrs, I think 35) I had very painful contractions, 5 min apart for 20+hrs. Double-peaking contractions alone lasted about five hours. I was extremely exhausted because I had no drugs and thought I'd never be able to push baby out, but somehow you find the strength.

I had doctors that were apparently not very on top of things?? It was 15 years ago. But they didn't induce me. I have my first at 42 weeks. I took caster oil the night before, and woke up at 430am having contractions five minutes apart. The second one I was 41w2d and had sex that ended up breaking my water. The third one I woke up at 515ish am and was having contractions 2 minutes apart.

With both my boys I had them 3 days early, the only thing I did the same each time was nipple stimulation every evening (whilst watching tv and before I went to sleep etc) from 38 weeks onwards each night and each night the tightenings it gave me got stronger and stronger, it doesn't feel most pleasant tweeking and playing with them like some sort of animal 😂 but I defiently believe that's what helped me x

I was induced with both of my children the day b4 my due date with each. But was measuring 43 weeks with each.

I lost my mucus plug at 36 weeks and she was head down. At 38 weeks I was dilated 1cm. At 38.4 I woke up with contractions that were painful at 630 am. By 730am I couldn't walk or talk through them. I arrived at the hospital at 830am and was 3cm. At 1030am I was 4cm and got an epidural. At noon I was dilated to a 5 and my doctor broke my water. At 130pm I had the urge to push and I was dilated to 10cm. I had my epidural turned off and bushed for an hour. She was born at 229pm.

Honestly I was the 1st person in my family to go natural and I didn't really know what to expect. I didn't really have any warning signs. I just woke up and knew that today was the day.

Following as id like to know too. My previous 3 have been 2 inductions and 1 section. I'm praying this 1 starts naturally even though docs have said it will be a planned section again 😔
