Tmi pic- implantation or start of period?

I am 7dpo and never spot mid cycle although sometimes my cycles are shorter or longer. I'm technically due next Friday at 13dpo. Usually my periods start with dark brown discharge and cramping but I had an hours painful cramping that woke me this morning and then nothing and then this started this evening but is painless. Any insight? Sorry for the tmi x
