Chances of negative blood test but pregnant?

I'm just wondering what are the chances of getting a negative blood test but still being pregnant ? How early can you tell by blood work? How accurate is it?

I think bloodwork is the most accurate way to test for pregnancy. Unless tested to early but they measure it more precisely. There's always the chance the lab screws up but I think that's not super common.

A blood test can also detect hCG. Blood tests are more sensitive than urine tests and can detect pregnancy from about six to eight days after ovulation. However you willnot be offered a blood test for pregnancyuntil after your period is due, and even then only if there is a medical need.
