Hey twin mamas, do your babies need separate cribs? Or can they share?

I am only 12 weeks with fraternal twins but have heard both (separate is best vs shared crib is fine). May I get your advice? Thanks❤️

My B/G twins are currently 3 1/2 months old. They are in separate cribs that they started sleeping in at 1 month. Truthfully they could have slept in the same crib initially, but for the past few weeks they have started really moving around in the cribs. They are still swaddled and they wiggle all over! My girl starts at one end of the crib and by morning she is backwards and at the other end 🙂 There's no way they would be able to be together without waking each other up now that they move so much!

My twins are 2 weeks old and sleep in the same crib.  They sleep much better next to each other. I do have two cribs though,  once they start moving more they'll each be in their own.

My b/g twins are 7months now (5 adjusted) and we just moved them into their own room but they are still sharing a crib. We have two and will switch them in about a week to their own.

We plan on building cribs for our twins that can connect to each other so they can be near one another without being in the same bed. Hopefully our idea works but won't know till they get here.

I'm planning to get one crib initially and get the second when we need it. At the moment we are in a two bedroom apartment (a very large one, but still) and have two little girls. They share a room and babies will be with us. I'm not feeling like dealing with moving if we can avoid it for a while, we live in Dubai and it's SO hot here in the summer. So for now, we'll make it work. Our room will be a tight squeeE with two cribs though!
