Confused about ovulation test results
So I just had my period for 12 days. I took an ovulation test on the last day (yesterday) and today. The result of yesterday's test is below:

Why would the line get lighter instead of darker if I've been on my period the whole time? Husband and I are new to TTC but I worry that this is abnormal, especially with bleeding for almost 2 full weeks.
