Super light/ non existent period

Okay so a little bit of a back story, I am very sexually active, I have been waiting for my period because even though it's always due to come on the 23 -25th each month I look forward to it and I get anxious because hey I LOVE KNOWING I'M NOT PREGNANT.

Monday I had my first trip to the gynecologist and I got my first exam. And she said I was in perfect health.

Well I stared my period on Thursday it was the 22nd so it was on schedule or close enough to it. But the weird part is: it lasted for like a day and then it stopped. It was super light and I only have a brown discharge now. I was totally ready for my usual heavy flow painful period but absolutely nothing. I don't know what this means but this is definitely not normal for me.
