What is this?

My fiancé gets this rash all the time, sometimes worse than others and it comes and go but it's always on his chest and back. It's doesn't hurt but if I touch it he said I make it itch. I have never gotten it so it's not contagious. It happens a lot when he sweats and we joke and say he's allergic to his sweat...but could that really be the case?

Being in the sun does this to me and then it turns white if that's what it is use selsun blue shampoo as soap I usually helps

My hubby gets the same thing except its on his chest. He breaks out from heat but it happened really badly while he was at work. They let him off for the day and we went to the doctor. They said its a fungus, I believe and recommended Selson Blue. It's over the counter and should help clear everything up.

Actually, its called Times Versicolor. I've had it multiple times throughout my life. You can wash with head and shoulders, use an antifungal on it and it'll probably go away - if not lighten. If its worse (like mine have been) you'll need to see a dermatologist and they'll prescribe you some more heavy duty antifungal meds.

That's Tinea Versicolor. My partner has it as well.

Heat rash. My hubby gets it on his back and stomach when he's been sweating or anything in the heat. People with more sensitive skin get it most often.

It looks like psoriasis I suffer with the same light treatment is the best I've had to calm it steroids work for abit but ends up flaring up even more

Looks like my husband! He has autoimmune urticaria and angioedema. Google it. Maybe the same thing. From doctors he's seen he's basically allergic to himself. He takes many allergy meds and herbal things to keep it calmed down. It goes through waves of flare ups. He's had it 3x within the past 10 years. This last bout of it has been about 1.5 years though. I feel terrible for him :(
His is head to toe though and gets huge welts. His dad has the same thing so we're certain it's partially genetic. Hopefully your husbands is just brought on by an external factor and not the autoimmune kind. Best of luck!
