Period

So I got my period twice this month. First it was for a week which is normal but then a week passed and I got it again and it hasn't ended im on the 8th day and its still heavy bleeding. I was taking birth control pills but I lost track and took some some days and other days I would forget. Is this normal? How can I end my period ?
