Note:
LoveCycles Tip of the day:
If the egg is not fertilized within 12-24 hours after its release from the ovary, it will stop developing and will dissolve before reaching the uterus. Also, your ovaries will stop producing estrogen and progesterone.
The absence of a fertilized egg cell gradually causes a woman’s body to stop releasing the hormones (progesterone) that would otherwise prepare the uterus for the developing egg cell. In response, the uterus sheds its lining. If the egg cell does become fertilized by a sperm, it will be transported by tiny hair-like cells called cilia to the uterus. There, it lodges in the uterine wall in a process called implantation and receives nourishment from the uterine lining. Even though your egg is viable only for 12-24 hours, sperm can survive and fertilize it for up to five days after intercourse.
Dola says: Dipping hormone levels may leave you feeling mildly stressed and moody. Dress up and trick your brain into being happy and self-confident. Looking good can be directly proportional to feeling good!
