Is twelve too young to start dating?

I feel like my niece is too young. She had a boyfriend and they broke up. I dont really support the idea of her dating i feel shes too young

In my opinion, yes, 12 is too young to date, when I was 12, I was playing outside and doing homework. Nowadays, 6_ year olds have Iphones and 12 year olds date and 14 year olds get pregnant. Its sad. But honestly, its all up to the parents on what the does child does and what age the child can do those things at.

In my opinion, there's no age limit to exploring different types of relationships.

As long as the relationships are appropriate, I think it's fine for her to be curious about dating and maybe even try it out.

Of course, it's hard to actually date at 12, but I wouldn't discourage her from it right away.

Make sure you keep a really open conversation about it with her. Ask her how he treats her, what she likes about him and what they do together!

Dating is a great opportunity to explore values and interests.

Yes I think 14-15 maybe the youngest my daughter can date if I had a daughter but then again a lot girls between 12-15 and even older are boy crazy lol
