What causes hemorrhoids?!?

Any of you ever get hemorrhoids? What causes them and do any of you know of any good home remedies or anything like that to relieve the discomfort?

With hazel, tucks cooling wipes, preparation h wipes, cooling gel hemorrhoid cream, also sitting in a tub with just enough warm water to cover them and Epsom salt.

Usually they're caused by dehydration, straining during bowel movements, pregnancy, after childbirth, irritable bowel syndrome... And many more causes.

Try to drink lots of water, even start drinking mirolax everyday... It doesn't taste like anything, I mix it with Gatorade. It's just fiber and helps with any straining or pain you experience using the bathroom. It's completely normal, but painful and very uncomfortable.

Constipation diarrhea anal sitting on the toilet too long things like that. I dont know of any home remedies i got ponds wipes and prep h until i could get to the drs they gave me a cream that got rid of the hemorrhoid like 2 days after starting the cream- got rid of the pain almost imediately thankfully! Witch hazel helps hospitals usually give women witch hazel after childbirth bc they r so common. But it's from straining to poop. Just popped blood vessels

Hemorrhoids are swollen veins similar to varicose veins. Once you get a hemmoroid, that vein is prone to becoming swollen again. As everyone stated above, it can become swollen from irritation due to thongs, straining, pressure from pregnancy, hard stool due to dehydration etc... I've dealt with them for years normally triggered by dehydration/constipation.

Strain and pressure in the area causes them, that's why they are so common during pregnancy. As for relief, I would Google that. I have heard that witch hazel helps with the itching tho.
