Nuchal cords: the perfect scapegoat
I've read on here about babies born angels because of the cords being wrapped round their necks. The truth is that that is rarely true and doctors just say that because most of the time there isn't anything else at first sight that looks like a reason for a stillbirth and parents rarely want autopsies done on their little angels.
My daughter was born (EMCS) with a nuchal cord (wrapped round her neck twice) -doctors said that that's the reason they had to give me an emergency section and after many hours of research and reading I don't buy it and I wish I would've known about it when I was pregnant-.
