preterm labor

I was released from the hospital after stopping my preterm labor, I was 31/32 weeks. Baby was measuring at about 33/34 weeks and weighed 4 pounds. They gave me two doses of a steroid shot to speed up lung and brain development. My question is if I were to go back into preterm labor would baby be able to come out and breathe on his own? My last shot was Friday night. Are there Any stories of success from the shot?
