Any one smoke why being pregnant?.??

Okay first of you gonna ride comment keep them to your self . but any way im 30 weeks pregnant I smoke weed off and on with my pregnancy. I stop not that long ago cuz my son want to come sooner.  Have any one smoke weed them stop and did there baby come out with withdrawals??? It just something I would like to know

Our opinions don't matter really it's the doctors and CPS that matters. Whether you think it's not wrong or not your opinions don't keep your kid from being taken away.

Marijuana is not addictive and cannot cause withdrawal. However, it is dangerous to smoke if you are also breastfeeding because the THC is 9x higher in your breast milk and can literally get your child high. I live in Colorado and get paid to grow for a medical dispensary and grow completely organic but there are additives with chemicals that growers use that are not safe for pregnant women! I stopped smoking around 20 weeks to be careful of baby's developing lungs. It's not completely researched so it's better to be safe than sorry! Especially if you do not know how it has been grown. Just because it is a natural plant does not mean it's safe from harmful things.

If you're going to smoke marijuana pregnant or not, you really need to be an educated consumer. Cannabis is not addictive, so no you do not need to worry about withdrawals. However, many hospitals will drug test you at birth as part of protocol now. I've been informed by several friends who had doctors that suggested the use of Cannabis during pregnancy to aid in morning sickness relief or appetite recommend to stop smoking 2 months before your "Due Date".

Your OB and hospital does not need your permission to run toxicology at any point in your pregnancy. When you deliver you will be tested and is you test positive, they will call CPS.

I don't personally object, but that's irrelevant, the laws are pretty tight on this subject.

This is not meant to be rude, although it's going to sound that way. You don't have withdrawals from marijuana. Second, you will not get good reactions here over that topic. It's deeply divided in many of these forums. If a doctor suspects you're using, you will get tested, and so will the baby. It stays with the baby a lot longer than it does with you, and CPS can take the baby. They will more likely do this if you test positive, also. This is coming from someone who genuinely loves marijuana, but it's not worth getting my baby taken away.

I wouldn't recommend smoking depending on the laws in your state about drug testing and how they feel about marijuana. But no, a child will not have withdrawals from marijuana.
