I need advice on a relationship/friendship

Have you ladies had a bf or ex husband that was so clingy and controlling? Like, to the point when you can't go to college without having guys as friends. Like, you cant even have gay guy friends at all..??? That's my situation ATM. What should I do because all the talking me and my bf talked about went out the door.
