sex is eh help

my boyfriend is 25 and it seems like he doesn't know how to have sex? he literally kisses me forever and then puts it in. every once in a while he'll play with my clit but never for long and he never puts his fingers inside me. the only time the sex is really good is when we're both drunk bc then he usually ends up lasting longer or goes down on me after he cums. I just think it's odd. any advice??
