False alarm?

So I started having contractions at 11am today. They were every 10m for about 15s each. I went to the hospital on my midwifes orders and they checked me out. Said my cervix was closed still, no uti, not dehydrated but still having contractions and very very slight cramps. (Could see both on the monitors) Anyone have experience with this sort of behavior? FTM 34w. No bleeding, waters intact, haven't lost my plug. Literally nothing except contractions and slight cramps. Baby's active and healthy.
