What all kinds of birth control.

Question

I'm on depo. Have been for almost 3 years. But I'm having such bad side effects from it I don't want a continue. I know what most of yall are gonna say, if your having bad side effects why stay on it so long? Well me & my husband live with his parents so I gotta be on something & depo was the easiest to be on. But I go next wednsday to get my next shot. I really wanna get off of it. But I'm stuck having to be on something til we get our own place. What are some other birth controls that yall have used & haven't had any problems with?

Have you tried Yaz? It's a birth control pill that's very light on hormones. Works as well as any other pill but it doesn't mess around with your body too much. I've used it for 2 years and no bad side effects. If it doesn't work for you there's a slightly stronger pill called Yazmin. X

-The pill
-Vaginal ring (sometimes called Nuvaring)
-Dermal patch
-Implant (lasts 3 years)
-IUD (last 3 or 5 years for hormonal, 10 years for the copper one)

Mocrogestin Fe generic for Logestrin Fe. 
I was so nervous to start it but I didn't have a choice. I suffer from debilitating pain during my periods and this has been my saving grace. Found out yesterday my prescription is out and freaking out cause I don't want to go through the pain again. 
Never had a problem with it except nausea at 5am the first night I took it.
Ask your dr what's the best option for switching bc. Better to do what makes you and your body happy.

I always tell people to NOT take depo. It can make ttc afterwards incredibly hard.  There's TONS of versions of the pill, a copper iud, a hormonal iud, an implant, a patch and I think alot of places still use the nuva ring as an option.
