Baby is due in June & daughter is acting out! We never had problems with our 3 almost 4 year old but these passed few weeks, she's a different child. She doesn't listen like she did, she's climbing on furniture, she's trying to draw on furniture, she's eating paper & toothpaste. These all just started. She has little chores like putting the clothes in the hamper & taking pieces of trash to the garbage but she's refusing to do them now. Today she climbed into her toybox & screamed bloody murder that she was stuck, when I went in she was just standing in it. I know it is because she knows the baby is coming soon but I'm truly losing my mind. I've been on bedrest this week & that definitely doesn't help. We've tried everything! Not talking about the baby, including her in decisions, taking her out, buying her new toys, I'm just out of ideas. Today I cried for an hour bc she told me she wanted a new mommy & daddy after I grounded her from playing outside for lying. She asked for a cookie and I said she had to eat all her lunch first. She threw the rest of her chicken away, put the plate back on the table and said she finished it all. What can I do?? Anyone else with a child the same age goin through this!?
