it's been gray zone with this guy for a while we're like friends with benefits but with feelings though idk if either one of us wants to date? Should I just ask him or wait it out...

You can ask him directly or indirectly. If you ask indirectly just mention this guy who is interested in you and that you're thinking about giving him a chance but isn't for sure. Ask him his opinion and see what answer you get.  I've done this for years and have always gotten my questions answered w out the guy actually knowing what I'm asking :P.

I would try to talk to him and figure out where yor relationship is going if you to are friend  friends with benefits or even more. If I'm benefiting with someone i want to be the only one he's benefiting with. You should find out so that you don't get ahead of yourself start to have real feelings for the guy just to have them ripped away if he's not into you like that (you shouldn't want to be feeling used)
