will you use a postpartum belly wrap?

just wondering if anyone is using one to slim a little, and when do we have to use it? after the hospital? or after baby is born? i am ftm and I don't know how uncomfortable this might be.

Yes! I wore one after my second baby and I was worlds better off than after my first born. Bamboo Belly Bandit is ready to be worn again! Huge help sitting up, bending over, leaning, picking up baby etc etc etc! It helped my muscles remember what to do and where to be instead of flopping out loose and helpless.

Yess, my mom, mother in law, and aunts swear by this and said its important to do so right away after birth. I just bought this waist trainer that's for post partum and I can't wait to wear it and hopefully get myself back in shape!

I have read they help tremendously and I have read they slow muscle toning because they do the work for the muscles.  I bought a shaper to wear occasionally as a compromise, maybe on the days I have to go out and want to feel more normal.

I wore one right after the birth of my first by day 4 pp i had my shape back no loose floppy stomach nothing. I wore it day and night took it off only to shower and wore it the first 3months after delivery. Went from pre pregnancy weight of 120 to delivery weight of 137 then after delivery weight i was 126 then within 3 months was down to 108 so it does help alot. Im using one for after delivery of this baby.

I bought one on Amazon. I read it's very useful if you wear it about 2 or 3days after the birth and during 6 to 8 weeks.

I haven't bought mine yet as I went to get measured and they suggested I wait till right after I deliever... I'm planning on wearing mine more for support and to help the healing process... There are rules some you can't wear right after birth and need to wait a couple weeks and it also depends if you have vaginal or c-section..

My dr put a binder around me after my csection. I loved it so much I wore it forever after and may invest in a different kind once I stop wearing that.
