NEXPLANON 1st week recap
first off I want to say that the insertion was a breeze, other than the numbing shot which burned like a mofo!
I got it put in last Friday morning, and that night I had some slight cramping, and Saturday as well. it was pretty uncomfortable but manageable with some midol!
mid Saturday is when the actual pain/discomfort from the implant started, when I would move my arm a certain way I would get a very odd feeling "twinge" in my arm. not extremely painful but definitely uncomfortable. this lasted until Wednesday.
the last few days have been fine, I still get a few twinges but it's not painful anymore.
I haven't noticed any mood swings out of the normal for me.
as for spotting, I saw a TINY bit on Sunday but that could have been from having a PAP done on Friday.
I'm still having very slight cramps, nothing I need to grab the midol for though.
so far so good! I'm really hoping I'm part of the % of women that don't have negative side effects.
