I'm not against smoking when your not growing another person but there's just not enough studies to show that it doesn't harm the baby. I'd try and avoid it while pregnant or breastfeeding to give your baby optimal chances. It's only a short time.

I wouldn't give my baby a cigarette to smoke, a cup of alcohol to drink or weed to smoke so I wouldn't do any of those things while I'm carrying my child. I believe its just selfish and if a person can't overcome this small selfish need then how could they be willing to put their child first any other time

No, don't do it. Yes the nerves and nausea are terrible, but if your doctor gets the inkling to drug test you, then it'll be reported to child protective services. Or when you give birth, many places drug test the mother now and many also test the baby's first poo. If either of you test positive, they'll usually call child services. That's how it is here anyway. If your doctor is ok with it, then maybe try edibles instead of smoking it.

But trust me girl, I feel your pain. I was so irritated yesterday I just punched the counter at work and told my husband that I just wanted a joint to help, but I can't (obviously) because I'm pregnant. I'm over that now, but yesterday was just a bad day for me

Well you never said if you were pregnant or not, so here goes.   If you are pregnant then I wouldn't. Here in Florida they drug test the mom and if she is positive then they test the baby (thru the babies urine). If baby is positive then DCF is called to the hospital.  If tou are not pregnant, then go for it. I didn't for 9 months and once I got home with the baby, I smoked a big fat blunt...😁😁😁 I still smoke some when I get some me time.

Never! Did w my first pregnancy and though it's most likely unrelated she was born at 29weeks. 
I quit now I have nothing controlling me and I am much more hungry and have gained weight since before I would only be hungry while smoking. 
The best thing is with a little weight gain I have grown begged breasts! 
I smoked everyday before getting pregnant w my first. 
Every day of my first pregnancy I was sick. 
I quit gained weight and lived healthy, 
I have not seen sick even once with my second pregnancy. 
This is only me. And my experience. 
You do what is best for you but always put your baby first. There is nausea medicine you can take.

I personally would never do that while pregnant. But I guess everyone is different, there are other ways to calm you nerves and nausea :)

I wouldnt... but for two reasons.

1. I have asthma and I can't even be near people smoking that because it makes my lungs hurt so bad. It's 600 times worse than cigarette smoke pain

2. I don't really know how the medical stuff works... but I wouldn't be able to trust anything off the street or off my friends. Unless they grew it themselves because who knows what else could be in it? But I've given up on this debate years ago and have left it to the old "You do you!" Response
