Ok I know this is a strange question, and you'll think "why would you want to have a baby with a dope head?" Well he only smokes occasionally.. I NEVER have. He used to be addicted but now it's only when he relapses. We're trying to have a baby, he says he's clean and sober but I haven't got pregnant yet and I'm thinking maybe it's because he's been smoking so his Sperm is sterile? I don't smoke or drink or do drugs so my body is healthy and ready for a baby but I'm thinking maybe his isn't.

You don't just smoke meth occasionally. It sounds like you should really think about what the  future would look like for you and your potential baby. Meth is one hell of a drug and being an addict is seriously hard, if not sometimes impossible,  to kick. I wouldn't want to share my child with someone I couldn't trust to stay clean.

My sons father is a meth addict. He wasn't when I was with him but he started doing other drugs after our son was born, so I left him as soon as I found out. Now he's doing meth and it has been a hard road dealing with him getting clean for 6-8 months at a time building trust just to go right back to him using again. Our son is 7. This feels never ending and I hope you do not have a baby with that man, you don't want your child feeling the way mine does. Hopeless, scared, like its his fault his dad doesn't show up. Drugs ruin relationships and lives 😔

I think you should be counting your lucky stars that your not pregnant by this man, definitely not trying to get pregnant with him. If he was clean and sober for a while i could understand. People change. Your saying its only when he relapse that he starts doing meth again.. If you truly love this man i think you should hold off having a baby with him till he is in a better spot in his recovery.

There are so many nasty chemicals in meth, I wouldn't be surprise if his swimmers are affected. Meth isn't something you do on occasion like having a beer. It's a horrible addiction and u think you are crazy for wanting to have w baby with him. Definitely rethink this for your potential future child's sake.

You dont smoke meth occasionally like its weed or sown thing. You're addicted or you're clean, there is no in between, take it from someone who grew up surrounded by drug addicts who I loved dearly. It sucks to love someone who is addicted but please realize that he is addicted. He isn't having random relapses if it's a regular thing. I suggest trying to get him clean or leaving. I would advise 100% against trying to have a baby with him and count yourself lucky you aren't pregnant yet. It's okay to love him but you gotta love yourself more.

My aunt and the man she had a baby girl with are both dope heads. The baby was born mentally and physically disabled..

A couple years later they both were in and out of jail, lost custody of the baby because of drugs,  and the baby was recently adopted.
