High blood pressure after birth?

Has anyone had high blood pressure continue after the birth?  I'm going on a week in the hospital between induction and c section and now my blood pressure. It's getting so frustrating and the doctors say it happens. I'm just beyond ready to go home.

Mine was high for about a week or two after. Now it's lower than its ever been at 7 wks pp

I was induced for high blood pressure at 39wks 1d.  I was kept 2 days longer than most women because of my BP in the first place & then the fact that they couldn't get it to go back down.  I'm on BP medicine now, but I don't think I need it anymore. I keep taking it just to make sure, though. I'm 16d pp & doing a lot better.

I am a week post and just found out my blood pressure is high and it wasn't during pregnancy or the few days after. I am freaking out because I don't know why it's happening

Yes, I had hypertension in my first pregnancy and stay after I had her.
