Postpartum depression?

Anybody else experiencing these emotions too? I had my baby girl April 18th and out of nowhere I got a little emotional and couldn't stop crying but after about a hour I was perfectly fine and my fiancé was very comforting which helped too. Then this morning I was emotional because baby girl wouldn't let me sleep if I put her down. She likes to sleep on mommy's chest and not so much daddy's. I don't want to call it depression, I just feel overwhelmed.

It's understandable to be emotional you've just had a massive change to ur life. Ur body has gone through so much ur hormones are bound to be all over the place. My little girl is now 7 months and I still feel like crying sometimes (not enough sleep, overwhelming love for her, annoyance at hubby as I feel like I'm the only one doing everything) just keep and eye on it (maybe a journal) and talk to someone if ur still worried xx

Very normal to feel overwhelmed. I did too. My baby was born 17th April. You see no one ever tells you how babies feed every 2/3 hours. No one ever tells you how you won't get any sleep. No one ever tells you that as a mum, you're the number one provider, not your partner. I felt overwhelmed for the first 2 weeks then I openly spoke to the health visitor about how I was feeling. She listened. She advised me to join the children's centre and meet other new mums. I did. Honestly we all feel overwhelmed but you've got to be strong. Suck it up. It gets harder before it gets easier. You'll start to find a rhythm with your little one. Wait and see. I now get 4 hours sleep at a time. And please do sleep when the baby sleeps. Be patient. It won't be like this forever. Congratulations by the way!! 😊
