PREG OR PERIOD CRAMPS!!

I am 8dpo and AF is due in 5 days. I experienced painful cramping and was certain AF was about to bust down the doors, so I went and took a warm bath to ease the pain and it went away within about 30 min. I've had some mild twitching cramps a few days before that and today as well. No Implantation bleeding. Also the day before the cramping I had a lot of milky white CM. Has anyone experienced the same thing before a BFP or is my body all outta whack.
