Epidural problems?

I'm currently pregnant with my 3rd. With my 1st labor I decided to get an epidural. It worked great for about 30 minutes, then only one side of my body was numb, then the whole thing wore off within the hour. I remember the anesthesiologist storming in complaining that "I put that in perfectly! That was a perfect epidural" (this made me very angry) Then she did another one and it worked just fine. Move forward 3 years to my second labor. I got the epidural again, it didnt work at all. I had to get a second one back to back. The second one worked perfectly yet again. Has anyone else had this happen? Where the first epidural didnt work? I guess I'm just terrfied that I'm gonna go into labor with this one and it's not gonna work at all. And me being the big baby that I am, is gonna have to push through it. Haha. Just curious if I'm the only one here. 😊
