This is my second baby.  Have felt her soooo much lower than I ever did my son during these final weeks.  Lots more Braxton hicks than last time too, plus notably more cramping and general discomfort.  Went for 37 week check today.  Doctor said I was between 1-2cm and about 35-40 percent effaced.  He had a patient in labor so didn't have much time to chat today.  Anyone have any insight on how quickly things could move from this point on?  Don't want to have to induce....had to with my son because of size and now this gal is getting big too.  It's insane, I'm a smallish person but I grow these huge babes!
