Preterm labor..

I'm 35+1 today. I'm having contractions and they were 3 minutes apart and I'm only 1 cm dilated and no dilation. They want to keep him in until 36 weeks. They prescribed me medicine to stop/slow down the contractions and they want me to stop the medicine at exactly 36 weeks. Contractions are suppose to be kind of exciting because that means your baby is coming and they're trying to keep mine in.. :( I want him healthy but it's a big waiting game and I'm just sick of these contractions still happening. I'm taking my medicine on time :( Edit: any advice, stories, or any support would be really nice right now.
