The right call or not

I'm 19 and have never really dated any guy except my best friend at the time but it didn't work out at all & only lasted a month back in our junior year. We never even kissed actually. And well now I've found the this amazing guy that truly loves me more than what I love him. I couldn't be anymore happier and we've been talking for a few months before he made it official to make me his girlfriend, we've only been dating for about 5 months almost 6 and we got caught in the moment and had sex. He was a bit disappointed because he wanted to make it special with it being my first time and what not. I don't really regret it but there's always that slight doubt whether it was the right thing to do. We've had sex a few times now and I just don't want to get in the habit of having sex every time we see each other. I love him but I don't know what I should do.
