Can a filthy background ruin a pretty picture?

I see a lot of women posting cute preggo selfies but their backgrounds are filthy. No covers on beds, clothes and trash laying around, and dirty mirrors etc... Trust me with 11 children under 18 I know what a messy house can be like so no shade thrown EVER.. I personally believe filthy backgrounds can take beauty away from a picture plus it indicates that you are a nasty lazy person..

I agree to a point, there are some where their mirrors are so gross you can't even see them...or there's just trash everywhere...I always think...ew you live like that?! How do you get ready when your mirror is legit nasty? I don't get it....but...I have 3 kids and work full time so there's days my house is messy.....I just don't take a bump pic that day....and PS ladies....it take not even two minutes to clean a mirror...just wipe it down!

I've seen some pictures posted by a woman with poop on the floor in the background like why. Why would you even think to post that? I think dirty mirrors and dirty backgrounds can definitely ruin a good photo.

I hate it when I see pics like that! Girls, I'm not looking at the belly when I see a trashy room behind you. I'm a sucker for backgrounds in photos. Even when I do a sudden snap in the bathroom mirror (bc it's the biggest mirror in the house with the best lighting) I make sure I set up the shot. No towels, no clothes, place a flower with a vase nearby, clean up the sink, place my cute perfume bottles near the shot. I'm a little crazy about it. I do amateur photography and I keep it classy.

I hate it when I see the camera in the photo. I always crop them out. It's a preference.
