Confused? 🤔
I'm just trying to figure out when bringing the nurses gifts/treats became a 'thing?' I am a FTM and limited on funds, (I have to pay $600 before I get a hospital bed and no payments after delivery) and will be caring for my newborn child on one income for now because I don't have paid maternity/paternity leave. Never has it crossed my mind to spend money on someone who is doing what they are supposed to be doing!? I'm so confused. Do we give treats to policemen who give us tickets? Do we give treats to the dentists who clean our teeth and successfully perform oral surgery? Do we give treats to the car salesmen for selling us a car with no down payment and low monthly payments? Do we give treats to the vets who save our pets lives? Etc. NO! because it's their job. My nurses will get a kind thank you.
