Why haven't I gotten my period?

I have been on birth control for a year and take it religiously. I had unprotected sex right after my last period and he came inside of me. I was worried about being pregnant so I just took a test and it is negative. Why haven't I gotten my period? I am two days late and about to start another pack of pills, should I just not start them and wait for my period?

You keep taking the pills. Birth control can make your period heavy, light or stop altogether. Birth control thins the uterine lining. If you don't have a lot of uterine lining, won't be much to shed.

No worries. It's normal. I was on BC for 4 years and my periods stopped all together, except for a drop or two. Keep taking them, you're fine.
