Babies heartbeat ?

So I kinda feel dumb for asking this question but this hasn't ever happened to me before so today I went to be monitored cause of no movement with the baby and when they went to put the monitor on for the babies heart rate at first it was more towards the bottom of my stomach then the nurse lost the heart beat and it took her a min to find it again but once she did it was more at the top of my stomach is that normal?
