No pain meds with induction?

Question

I may be getting indiced tomorrow due to high BP. I was hoping to go natural and no pain meds... But now I'm not sure since I've heard being induced is 10x more painful then regular labor. Has anyone been induced and not received pain meds? Give me some hope here lol thanks!

I was induced and was in labor for 36 hrs. Pushed 2 1/2 and had no meds or epi. I thought this time i would get the epi but i was informed that i will be doing it all med and epi free again. Hoping my labor is not so long this time.

I was not induced with my first and did it with no pain meds.  With my second I was induced and did it without pains meds also.  Now I have a high pain tolerance.  My first labor was 9 hours and my second was only 3 hours.  They may have been more intense when I was induced but again it was only 3 hours and I was still able to handle it.

I was induced, i didnt want any pain relief but 2 hours later i had gas and air then pethadene and was begging for an epidural! But by then was ready to push, though my baby did turn back to back so not sure if thats related to being induced so sorry not much help but hoping not to be induced this time, think everybody is different though.
