Holly cow !

TMI** NEED advice

Yesterday I started my period, heavy flow as usual. So on the first 3 days of my period I use the super plus (orange colo) pearl tampons. Today I went to switch out tampons around 11:30 am when I noticed I only had the plus (green color). I thought that was ok since I was going home for lunch at noon. We'll when I got home for lunch I felt like I had wet myself. As I pulled down my underwear I noticed it full of blood. My tampon was COMPLETELY FULL AND FULL OF THIS BIG BLOODY DISCHARGE. I mean a lot! The amount of inside of an egg. I've had discharge like that before but never that much! Has this ever happened to anybody else? Please help. Should I be concerned?
