Minor in Spanish

I am currently a sophomore in college and pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, EC-6 Core Subjects with Bilingual Supplemental. I was told if I minored in Spanish, I'd have a higher advantage in getting a job when competing with someone who didn't minor in Spanish. Should I minor in Spanish?
