Cervix question

Okay so I'll check my cervix a couple times a day. Anyways earlier in the day around 11:00am my cervix was high, soft, and open I thought it was weird for it to be that way since it hasn't since I've been on Depo. So I checked it again like an hour later it was high, hard and closed and had continued to stay that way the rest of the day. Has anyone has this dramatic of a change in such a short amount of time?
