Leaving baby in car alone

What's your intake on leaving very young children, or babies alone in the car?

I'm not for it. In my mind something can happen,and I'm unwilling to take that risk...

Now I'm not talking about leaving your kids in the car while you pick up something from a porch, or ring someone's door bell or bring flowers but actually going inside a gas satiation or store while they wait for you
