Am I a sociopath?

I've been reading about sociopaths a lot lately and realized I do a lot of the same stuff. I lie constantly, I block people from my life (phone and social media) even when they've done nothing wrong. I really only do it to guys. They like me and I want to work on things with my ex so I block them without explanation. I find myself being hurtful during  arguments but not caring. I also have a REALLY bad temper.

I do care for my friends, family and ex. So I think that's what puts me aside from being a sociopath.

What do you guys think? Should I see a psychiatrist?

People who are sociopaths never wonder or ask themselves if they are. It never crosses their mind. It is others who make that diagnoses for them.

It's like horoscopes, you relate the bits you want to and convince yourself you fit the rest of the description and like when you type in your cold symptoms in Google and your convince you're self you have a deadly disease... I'm sure your fine. Also even if you were a sociopath (or psychopath) it's not necessarily a bad thing, if you are and you apply yourself well you're actually more likely to do well in life. Many really good business men and women are sociopaths or psychopaths, they just focuses those qualities and getting ahead inlife as appose to murder, which is what many people associate with those to types of people

Sociopaths also generally have NO emotion.... Bing violent is one thing, but anger is another.... You could just be anti-social.... There's nothing wrong with that.... If you want you can talk to a therapist, anyone can, you don't have to have a problem to talk to someone.

That's me all the way.. I do the same things and I'm the same way. It's def not a sociopath otherwise we would both be in trouble lol I think it's just that we focus on things like fixing things with a person or doing something and we don't want anything getting in the way. I block people all the time like there's no problem. I do it for many reasons, like i don't want them seeing what I post, or commenting on things, or knowing my life, or talking to me. I lash out on people when I get upset and I think that's because I have all this built up emotions from different things and certain conversations just trigger it. If we didn't care and weren't passionate about people and things and just secluded ourselves from society then maybe that would be considered a sociopath but I think we are okay lol

Sounds like it could be depression or bipolar, I'm not a doctor and I don't know you but from my experience it could be a mental health problem, but you don't seem like a sociopath by your description.
