Vaginal Bleeding?

I just had my period a week ago and I know periods can be irregular sometimes but this seems different. The blood doesn't drain my underwear it's only there when I go to the bathroom and wipe myself and there's a lot of blood. Also, the consistency isn't like period blood it seems more like regular blood. Is it my period or could it be something else?
