Am I too young to start trying for a baby?

I'm 21 and I've been married for 2 years now. I have a 3 year old daughter form a previous relationship. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for a year with no luck. I am nervous that maybe I'm too young. I know I already have a baby but is it too soon to actually try? If we do continue to try I have to go to the doctor since we've been trying so long with no luck but I'm nervous how the doctor is going to be since I'm so young.

In my opinion, so long as you can unconditionally love & provide for your child, your age is fine! Regardless of that, you shouldn't see a doctor who's going to judge you based on your age alone. That's just silly.

Don't focus so much on making a baby. Just have sex.. When it happens it happens. :) good luck! Also 21 is not too young at all!

If I had my time again, I would have had my child at 20 so you're not too young at all. Oh, n it took me n my fiancee 3yrs before we first conceived so don't lose heart :-)

You're not that young. 21 is considered peak time to be having kids (for your body anyway). A year isn't that long to be trying for your second it took my husband and I 3 years to conceive our second and I'm 25. Just keep trying and try not to think about it so much. Have sex for fun not for making babies and it will happen when it's your time.
