I had my beautiful king today

I had my beautiful king today! He was due 6/4/14, had a home birth it was amazing! So i woke up a fee days ago was feeling some leakage. Then today saw a tiny bit of mucus plug. Then at 7pm i started feeling contractions the REAL deal! They started from the bottom up. I started timing them on my app. I let my hubby know they were back to back.

Then i took a walk outside and notice they werent leaving. So i came in the house n called my mother n siblings. Had my girl whose going to school to be a midwife herr as well. The contractions were be like 2 mins apart lasting 2 mins. I rrad my affirmations. Which was i will have a healthy bby, n a hone birth.

So now its about 10 im feelibg intense i can handle them but whoo they were intense, had my hubby run to the store to grab wine, n old school pain reliever. He left. I felt an extreme pressure in my bottom. Next thing i knew im leaning on my mother. N pop! Goes water, then bby head. Mind you this was a gender reveal birth. My mon said wait grabbed cord from babys head. Wrapped twice then he cried.

I was so shocked the timing was fast! But i did have contractions since 7mnths and this is bby #2. It was worth it for a short birth.

King finally got home n had a huge smile! I said guess the gender he said healthy! N i said a boy!

It did take me a min to deliver placebta. Came out at 12:45a.m. but i needed a brrak was dizzy! But im so happy that i did home birth atmosphere was what i wanted! I was up walking around. Although i did slip n faint out the tub. Ill be resting for a while. Also my 1y.o cried the whole time now shes happy n says his name!.

Having a home birth really let me enjoy the experience and taught me i am strong and can do anything! I pray all ypu ladies have a great birth! And write down your goals youll need them when the pain kicks in!
